Exterior Context, Interior Context & Human

The drawing of
exterior context
interior context
&
human....

The exterior of a building does not exist
independently of the interior dwelling.
 Its outside context includes signage,
landscaping, paving for vehicles and pedestrians,
and of course,
the relationship to nearby buildings,
neighborhoods, and public spaces.

Assignment 3.1- One Point Drawing

One-point perspective:

* All vertical lines are perpendicular to the horizon
* All horizontal lines are parallel to the horizon
* All diagonal lines intersect at the point on the horizon

Basic Concepts:

* PICTURE PLANE:
The “window” that is represented by the picture.

* STATION POINT:
Represents the eye of the observer.
It is the camera in a photograph.

* VANISHING POINT:
Are points on the horizon line where receding line (planes) meet.

* GROUND LINE:
A line that is parallel to the picture plane at the base of the object being described.

* HORIZON LINE:
A theoretical line that represents the eye level of the observer.

Task 1
This exercise must be done with proper drafting equipment
using scale 1:200

This exercise must be using the previously drawn plans,
elevation and section as the base drawings and measurements,
we are to draw a one-point perspective drawing.
we have to choose only one area(kitchen/ bedroom)
to construct our perspective.
So i draw the perspective drawing of kitchen
using scale 1:200

Kitchen with scale 1:200

1-Point Perspective (Gridline Method)

Assignment 2.6- Isometric& Axonometric

This exercise is to introduce you to one of
3 dimensional presentation drawing techniques available
in communicating designs.

Paraline Drawing

From the Orthographic projection given,
we have to draw an isometric drawing in
scale 1:50 scale
and follo the dimension stated in the drawing

Plan Oblique
From this plan oblique,
we have to refer to the previously drawn plans,
elevations and section as the base drawing
in 1: 100 scale.
