Assignment 3.1- One Point Drawing
One-point perspective:
* All vertical lines are perpendicular to the horizon
* All horizontal lines are parallel to the horizon
* All diagonal lines intersect at the point on the horizon
Basic Concepts:
* PICTURE PLANE:
The “window” that is represented by the picture.
* STATION POINT:
Represents the eye of the observer.
It is the camera in a photograph.
* VANISHING POINT:
Are points on the horizon line where receding line (planes) meet.
* GROUND LINE:
A line that is parallel to the picture plane at the base of the object being described.
* HORIZON LINE:
A theoretical line that represents the eye level of the observer.
Task 1 This exercise must be done with proper drafting equipment using scale 1:200 |
